LIMITED LIFETIME WORKMANSHIP WARRANTY DISCLAIMER

1. Warranty Coverage

R & L Roofing Specialties warrants to the original property owner that all roof installation work performed by R & L Roofing Specialties will be free from defects in workmanship for the lifetime of the roof. This warranty covers only the labor and installation methods used by R & L Roofing Specialties and does not cover roofing materials which are subject to manufacturer warranties.

2. Warranty Exclusions

This warranty shall be void in the event of damage caused, directly or indirectly, by:

• Any named catastrophic event, including but not limited to hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, hailstorms, wildfires, or floods.
• Acts of God, vandalism, or accidental damage caused by third parties.
• Structural settlement, shifting, or failure of the building.
• Improper maintenance, neglect, or failure to keep the roof free of debris.
• Alterations, repairs, or installations performed by any person or company other than R & L Roofing Specialties.

3. Warranty Registration Requirement

• It is the homeowner’s responsibility to register this warranty with R & L Roofing Specialties within 6 months of the completion date of the roofing project.
• Failure to register the warranty within this timeframe will result in the warranty being null and void.
• Registration may be completed by submitting a warranty registration form, proof of purchase, and project details directly to R & L Roofing Specialties via mail, email, or in person.

4. Warranty Service Call Deposit

• A deposit of $250.00 is required at the time a warranty service call is scheduled.
• If R & L Roofing Specialties determines that the issue is covered under this workmanship warranty, the full $250.00 deposit will be refunded to the customer.
• If the issue is not covered under this workmanship warranty, the $250.00 deposit will be applied toward:
  
  • The cost of necessary repairs, and
  • Any applicable service call fees.

5. Claim Procedure

To submit a warranty claim:

1. Contact R & L Roofing Specialties in writing or by phone to request a service evaluation.
2. Provide proof of original installation by R & L Roofing Specialties.
3. Ensure the warranty is registered within the required 6-month period.
4. Allow reasonable access to the property for inspection.

6. Transferability

This workmanship warranty applies only to the original property owner and is non-transferable unless otherwise agreed to in writing by R & L Roofing Specialties.

7. Limitation of Liability

This warranty is limited to repair or replacement of defective workmanship as determined by R & L Roofing Specialties. Under no circumstances shall R & L Roofing Specialties be liable for any incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to damage to building contents, loss of use, or loss of profits.

1. Cobertura de la garantía

R & L Roofing Specialties garantiza al propietario original de la propiedad que todos los trabajos de instalación de techos realizados por R & L Roofing Specialties estarán libres de defectos de mano de obra durante la vida útil del techo. Esta garantía cubre únicamente la mano de obra y los métodos de instalación utilizados por R & L Roofing Specialties y no cubre los materiales de techado sujetos a las garantías del fabricante.

2. Exclusiones de la garantía

Esta garantía quedará anulada en caso de daños causados, directa o indirectamente, por:

• Cualquier evento catastrófico mencionado, incluyendo, entre otros, huracanes, tornados, terremotos, granizadas, incendios forestales o inundaciones.

• Casos fortuitos, vandalismo o daños accidentales causados por terceros.

• Asentamiento estructural, desplazamiento o falla del edificio. • Mantenimiento inadecuado, negligencia o falta de limpieza del techo.

• Modificaciones, reparaciones o instalaciones realizadas por cualquier persona o empresa ajena a R & L Roofing Specialties.

3. Requisitos de Registro de la Garantía

• Es responsabilidad del propietario registrar esta garantía con R & L Roofing Specialties dentro de los 6 meses posteriores a la fecha de finalización del proyecto de techado.

• Si no se registra la garantía dentro de este plazo, esta quedará nula.

• El registro puede completarse enviando el formulario de registro de garantía, el comprobante de compra y los detalles del proyecto directamente a R & L Roofing Specialties por correo postal, correo electrónico o en persona.

4. Depósito para la Visita de Servicio de Garantía

• Se requiere un depósito de $250.00 al programar la visita de servicio de garantía.

• Si R & L Roofing Specialties determina que el problema está cubierto por esta garantía de mano de obra, se reembolsará al cliente el depósito completo de $250.00. Si el problema no está cubierto por esta garantía de mano de obra, el depósito de $250.00 se aplicará a:

o El costo de las reparaciones necesarias, y

o Cualquier cargo por servicio técnico aplicable.

5. Procedimiento de reclamación

Para presentar una reclamación de garantía:

1. Comuníquese con R & L Roofing Specialties por escrito o por teléfono para solicitar una evaluación del servicio.

2. Presente un comprobante de la instalación original realizada por R & L Roofing Specialties.

3. Asegúrese de que la garantía se registre dentro del plazo de 6 meses requerido.

4. Permita un acceso razonable a la propiedad para su inspección.

6. Transferibilidad

Esta garantía de mano de obra se aplica únicamente al propietario original de la propiedad y no es transferible, a menos que R & L Roofing Specialties acuerde lo contrario por escrito.

7. Limitación de responsabilidad

Esta garantía se limita a la reparación o el reemplazo de la mano de obra defectuosa, según lo determine R & L Roofing Specialties. R & L Roofing Specialties no será responsable bajo ninguna circunstancia de daños incidentales o consecuentes, incluyendo, entre otros, daños al contenido del edificio, pérdida de uso o lucro cesante.
